The Spotlight is in your hands. Art that helps move donations to people in need.

At every gathering we spotlight a humanitarian organization and encourage our community to donate to them directly. Nothing passes through us — we just point the light.

How giving works

Spotlight donations go straight to them

When you give to a spotlighted organization, you give directly on their own page. 4words never holds or touches that money.

Pay What You Can keeps 4words running

Ticket contributions are paid securely through Stripe and go to 4words Community, not to the spotlighted organization. They cover our running costs — maintaining the website, small stipends for the team when we can manage it, and a pot of honorariums so featured artists get paid. Any amount is optional and welcome.

Every dollar is logged

Direct gifts are recorded against the organization you gave to, tickets against their gathering, and the running total above — … so far — updates as it happens. Ask us anytime for the breakdown.
